WholeSecurity Launches Solution for Online Identity Theft

During the second day of EDventure’s PC Forum, Texas based security company WholeSecurity presented the first automatic and behavioral-based software to prevent Online Identity Theft. The company, led by recognized industry experts with previous experience in Tivoli, US Department of Defense and Cisco, is dedicated to leveraging its knowledge to prevent these kind of threats by addressing the issue with a new approach.

WholeSecurity developed a patent-pending solution to solve the Online Identity Theft problem by extending the SSL model — automatic, seamless protection, without downloads or upgrades — to the point of input. WholeSecurity’s Confidence Online will provide a secure, safe experience during any online transaction or data exchange to protect against criminals’ new weapons — eavesdropping software and Trojan horse attacks.

Pete Selda, CEO and president of WholeSecurity said: “In these economic times, it is critical for companies to drive business online to significantly reduce the cost per transaction. However the rampant increase of Online Identity Theft requires businesses to implement security solutions that protect their customers and employees from criminals. Traditional network security falls short of defending the weakest link in a transaction, the end user’s PC. Security is needed at the point of input.”
