Code42 enhances data security and recovery solution

Code42 announced enhancements to its data security solution. The Security Center helps detect and mitigate insider threat incidents and data exfiltration events by setting data movement thresholds, tracking file activity patterns and sending alerts to IT or security administrators when data transfers to cloud storage or removable media exceed typical limits. Identity management gives IT administrators the added flexibility to choose from a variety of identity management applications, including an integration with Okta, for multi-factor authentication in the cloud.

Fortress Cyber Security announced Fortress UTM PLUS, a unified threat management product patented to integrate home security and network security in a single appliance. The Fortress UTM PLUS is a security home-hub that includes home security integration, parental controls, and identity monitoring. Security levels allow users to adjust system behaviors such as event-based notifications and automated actions. All product features are manageable via touchscreen or mobile apps.

New policy-based vehicle access and safety solution

Irdeto and Conjure have announced the launch of Keystone, a policy-based vehicle access and safety solution in the connected transport industry. Utilizing a mobile device with a companion application, the solution eliminates the need for physical keys to the car while also providing car and fleet owners with the ability to securely provision and manage a host of new car sharing/car riding experiences. Keystone combines secure, tamper-proof policy management that prevents a multitude of potential vehicle hacks, including Man-in-the-Middle and Man-at-the-End attacks, remote and in-vehicle tampering, and reverse engineering.
