iboss cloud integrates Microsoft Azure to extend protection for corporate data

iboss has extended its cloud security offerings to be available as a Microsoft Azure private app. This allows organizations running data within Azure to extend to iboss gateway security in order to protect this data as it is accessed by any user from any device, anywhere.

Extending across Azure, iboss cloud gateway security reduces network blind spots and increases overall security posture with visibility (or a single unified view) into who is accessing data and where it is going.

As the traditional network perimeter erodes and corporate data continues to expand and live across multiple clouds, iboss’ ability to extend across them is critical to ensure users have safe access to their applications.

“We are excited to bring iboss’ offerings to Microsoft Azure, not only because it is a leading cloud platform, but because more and more customers are sending traffic via their network with the rapid growth of Azure and Microsoft Office 365,” said Paul Martini, CEO and co-founder of iboss. “Customers will now have the network security service as close to the traffic as possible, giving users the best experience when accessing the cloud.”

Prasetha Warrier, Principal Product Manager at Microsoft said, “Through its SaaS security offering, iboss gives Microsoft Azure customers both the comprehensive protection they need today and the flexibility to scale as they grow for the future. Azure offers quality services from global partners such as iboss with solutions tested to work seamlessly for our customers.”
