Pondurance announced the appointment of Jimmy Tsang as Vice President of Marketing. Tsang brings more than two decades of marketing experience and leadership to the Pondurance team, having most recently led product marketing at IBM Security Services. In this role, Tsang directed product marketing for MDR services and competencies across Zero Trust; Strategy, Risk and Compliance; Cloud Security; Threat Management; Data and Application Security; Infrastructure and Endpoint Security.
Previously, Tsang led both content marketing and solutions marketing for IBM Security, the largest enterprise security vendor in the industry with about 8,000 employees. In these roles, he helped transform the culture at IBM Security to embrace integrated product and services security solutions and develop big, impactful marketing initiatives.
He also developed the strategy and go-to-market plan to evolve how IBM Security engages with customers and analysts with holistic solutions rather than fragmented point products. Earlier in his career, Tsang held both marketing and management roles at firms such as Nokia, Pfizer and Procter & Gamble.
“Jimmy has a track record of growing billion dollar security offerings. As Pondurance grows to meet the explosive market demand for our services, Jimmy’s unique combination of skills will enable us to scale our marketing efforts,” said Lyndon Brown, chief strategy officer at Pondurance. “His appointment is a welcome addition to the Pondurance leadership team as we continue to build on our momentum and invest in the next phase of our growth and development.”
“I’m thrilled to be joining Pondurance at this exciting time in the company’s trajectory,” said Tsang. “I look forward to working with this incredible team to build on the strong position Pondurance has earned in the marketplace and help drive the company’s marketing efforts forward.”
Tsang holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Yale University.
