DefendNet Solutions, Inc., a leading provider of managed Internet security solutions, today announced that it has formed a strategic partnership with BuyTelco, Inc., a leading telecom services provider, to resell DefendNet’s managed security solutions through the BuyTelco.com Web site.
BuyTelco.com is an Internet-based business-to-business portal that enables small- and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) throughout the U.S. to easily research, purchase and manage competitive voice and data service offerings in their area. Under the terms of the partnership, BuyTelco will refer customers to and deliver DefendNet’s managed security solutions, which include best-of-breed firewall appliances, 24 X 7 monitoring, virtual private networks and anti-virus solutions, to the broad market of U.S. businesses that are served by its Internet-based resale network of telecommunications services.
This announcement builds on DefendNet’s existing strategic alliances with more than 35 partners, and represents an extension of its reach to the SMB market. DefendNet currently has managed security services relationships with partners in a number of key markets, including system/network integrators, CLECs/DLECs, ASPs, and ISPs.
