Datakey Announces Second Quarter Conference Call

Datakey’s quarterly conference call to be held on Tuesday, July 23, at 4:00 p.m. Central Time; Second quarter results scheduled for release after market close on July 23, 2002

MINNEAPOLIS, July 15, 2002 – Datakey Inc. (Nasdaq: DKEY), a trusted developer of smart card solutions for securing enterprise-wide personal identification, announced today that it will hold a teleconference to discuss second quarter results on Tuesday, July 23, 2002, at 4:00 p.m. Central Time (5:00 p.m. Eastern). Datakey is scheduled to release financial results for the quarter ended June 29, 2002, after the close of market on July 23.
