Panda Software Now Compatible with Citrix Metaframe 1.8
Panda Software, leading international antivirus developer, has announced the compatibility of its antivirus for NT and 2000 file servers with the Citrix Metaframe 1.8 application server.
The compatibility tests, which evaluated antivirus deployment to workstations, basic operability and virus detection, confirm the seamless integration of Panda Software’s antivirus with the Citrix Metaframe platform. The combination of these two products offers unrivalled protection for NT and 2000 servers against all types of virus and malicious code.
This development is one of the first results of the recent agreement that saw Panda Software form part of the Citrix Business Alliance (TM), a coalition of leading technology companies working with Citrix Systems, Inc. to design and produce complementary solutions for clients.
A primary goal of the CBA is promoting compatibility between members’ solutions and Citrix products to offer their mutual customers enhanced virtual access solutions.
