Intrusion SecureNet Provider 2.2 now gives the user simple management and new higher performance event aggregation and drill down capabilities.

The Provider suite was originally developed to satisfy the highly scalable and highly flexible needs of enterprise super-sites and managed security service providers. This latest release provides a set-and-forget interface for event database management that prioritizes for retention of meaningful data.

In additional to usability and stability enhancements, Intrusion SecureNet Provider 2.2 makes it easy to manage the long-term storage of network IDS events. Event priorities are used to determine how to manage the data so that the most important events receive priority. For immediate database management needs, the 2.2 version allows quick and simple identification of the stored data for specific and date-range oriented for clearing space on the server immediately. All the necessary tools to ensure the uptime of the Provider Manager are available in the new interface – alleviating the need for specific database expertise.

Intrusion SecureNet Provider 2.2 is available now as software for Windows 2000 Server or as a bundled Hardware-Appliance. Software is available for $1,000 per sensor under management, freeing the security professional to architect the system without additional cost for redundant or tiered management. Enterprise licenses are also available. Bundled Hardware-Appliance is $19,995 and includes licenses for managing ten Sensors. The entire SecureNet family is available now from Intrusion Resellers and Distributors around the globe. Prices for Sensors range from under $3,000 for Hardware-Appliances and $2,000 for Software-Appliance CDs to the mid-twenties for the Common Criteria EAL2 certified Intrusion SecureNet CC 7345.
