Forum Systems Joins the RSA Secured Partner Program

Salt Lake City, Utah – October 8, 2003 – Forum Systems, Inc., provider of the award-winning Forum SentryT XML Web services security gateway, today announced that it has joined the RSA SecuredR Partner Program. This technology partnership provides a common foundation for secure XML Web services by integrating the Forum SentryT 1500 Series and RSA KeonR digital certificate management software. Forum is one of the first XML Web services vendors to integrate with RSA Keon software.

As part of the RSA Secured Partner Program, Forum Sentry 1500 has been awarded “RSA Secured RSA Keon Ready” certification, signaling its interoperability with RSA Security’s identity and access management software.

“We are extremely pleased with the addition of Forum Systems as one of our first XML Web services partners,” said Stuart Cohen, director of partner development at RSA Security. “With the growth of e-business, companies are struggling to maintain secure access to vital information and applications. The strategic partnership between Forum Systems and RSA Security provides a trusted identity and access management solution to end users.”

Certification with RSA Keon software provides a Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) to support key generation and key lifecycle management. The RSA Keon software provides the source of public and private key pairs for deploying a WS-Security solution using the Forum Sentry 1500 product series. Leveraging the RSA Keon software, Forum Sentry provides identity management, hardware accelerated SSL authentication, WS-Security processing, SAML processing, hardware accelerated XML Digital Signatures, XML Digital Signature Verifications, XML Encryptions and XML Decryptions.

“Customers recognize the value of having tried-and-tested security features in the products they buy. The combination of RSA Security and Forum Systems technology provides a trusted Web services foundation that customers can rely on,” said Wes Swenson, president of Forum Systems.

The Forum Sentry 1500 series was created to provide an enterprise-class Web services security management and acceleration platform that integrates three XML Web services security solutions in a single device, including: Data Privacy Server (XML content and document encryption/decryption), Digital Signature Server (XML content and document digital signatures) and XML Intrusion Prevention (XML filtering, authentication, access control and schema validation).
