Zix Corporation Receives Award from Massachusetts Health Data Consortium for Its PocketScript e-Prescribing Solution

Using a handheld wireless device or secure Web site along with the PocketScript application, physicians can write and transmit prescriptions directly to pharmacies. The system also includes comprehensive drug information, including patient drug histories, drug-to-drug interactions, and detailed drug lists for multiple formularies. PocketScript helps save time, enhance patient safety, and provide fewer office resources dedicated to prescription management.
