F-Secure Extends the Security as a Service Concept With New Applications

The customers of Internet service providers (ISPs) and Telco operators are not only concerned about the security threats, such as new viruses, worms, Trojans and external hacker attacks. Fast increasing amount of email spam has become a disturbing factor to the users of Internet. Parents are concerned about the range of unsuitable and harmful content to their children available in the Internet space.

F-Secure Security as a Serviceâ„? concept, a turnkey solution to Internet Service Providers, provides automated desktop security services like anti-virus and personal firewall, that can be easily combined with an ISP’s existing service portfolio. New applications, Spam Control and Parental Control, will be fully integrated to the existing security suite that provides the easy to use and automated desktop security for the users of Internet. The built-in customisation and branding support allows the service providers to bring the services into the market under their own brands.
