AEP Systems Hires New Positions, Strengthens AEP Sureware Net Team

London, UK ‘ April 29, 2004 ‘ AEP Systems, the high-speed security company, announces the appointment of two key personnel to its team in the United Kingdom. Stephen Lewis, longtime AEP SureWare Net Senior Product Manager has accepted a position as a member of the Board of AEP Systems’ UK company. Experienced security sales expert, Peter Clark, has been hired as a Sales Director for the AEP SureWare Net product. Both Lewis and Clark bring considerable expertise to their new positions at AEP Systems.

Lewis has over 25 years experience in IT, computer security and cryptographic security. Since joining AEP Systems, Lewis has worked closely with customers in the areas of pre-sales consultancy, equipment and security architecture design and product management for the SureWare Net product. Lewis recently managed the development and implementation of network security architectures for major UK and European national and international infrastructure projects and criminal justice systems. Prior to joining AEP Systems, Lewis performed a similar role in Baltimore Technologies where he was recognised as an important contributor in maintaining the consistent success of Baltimore’s Hardware Division.

Clark has over 30 years experience in IT, networking, and computer security and now heads up AEP Systems’ Public Sector sales. Prior to joining the AEP Systems team, Clark worked in similar roles with SSH Communications Security Corp, Baltimore Technologies and Thales e-Security, where he achieved several major successes within Government-based projects. Before moving into sales, Peter was a software developer and has held a number of senior sales and marketing positions across the industry. Clark’s new role illustrates the growing European interest in AEP SureWare Net, a high-speed security VPN encryptor for high-security networks.
