Wick Hill Appointed By Check Point To Target Small Business Market
Woking, Surrey: 13th September 04 – Wick Hill has been appointed distributor by Check Point to target the SME/SMB market. Wick Hill will be distributing Check Point’s Safe@Office, VPN-1 Edge and Check Point Express firewall and VPN solutions, aimed at keeping small and medium enterprises secure against the increasing number of advanced threats and emerging attacks.
With small businesses having to face the same challenges as multinational enterprises, this represents an enormous challenge for both security companies and their distributors, but also a great opportunity for continued growth.
Bernie Dodwell, director of business development at Wick Hill, said: “A key element of Check Point’s strategy is to grow its business in the SME/SMB sector. With our strengths and excellent track record in selling security solutions to this particular area, we were the logical choice to act as VAD for Check Point.
