The combination of the ISS Proventia Web Filter with Blue Coat’s proxy appliances enables customers to filter unwanted Web content without interrupting legitimate Web traffic. The combined solution provides increased network performance and simplified installation, supporting ISS’ URL database that has three times as many categorized Web sites than any other Web filtering provider. The Blue Coat proxy appliances with integrated Proventia URL filtering enables customers to set and enforce Web access policies to advise, coach and enforce users based on time of day and other attributes to meet unique business requirements.
