iQuate joins BSA Ireland

November 2004 – iQuate (www.iQuate.com), the Irish network auditing and IT asset management software specialist, has announced that it has joined the Business Software Alliance (BSA). iQuate helps organizations to audit and manage the software installed across their corporate networks while the BSA promotes safe and legal use of software.

iQuate’s solutions are designed to help companies gain an immediate and accurate picture of their installed software by automatically auditing the system and reporting on all software deployed throughout the organization. The software enables organizations to ensure license compliancy.

“iQuate is delighted to become a member of the BSA , which is dedicated to promoting a strong corporate governance climate for businesses,” said Anthony Quigley, CEO of iQuate. “Our customers tell us that corporate governance and risk management issues are among their primary challenges. Joining the BSA is a natural step in the development of the company, as we are being increasingly recognised as one of the leading providers of software solutions that successfully address the issues of stricter and more demanding organisational accountability.”

Beth Scott, BSA EMEA, Vice President, comments “BSA welcomes iQuate as a local member – continued industry collaboration is key to reducing the software piracy rate of 41%.”
