Pekka Kuusela appointed as VP of Sales and Marketing at F-Secure

F-Secure Corporation today announced the appointment of Pekka Kuusela as Vice President of Sales and Marketing, effective March 1st, 2005. Kuusela has held senior sales and marketing positions at Nokia between 1992 and 2003. His responsibilities included the sales, distribution and marketing activities for the global expansion of the Nokia Home Communications unit.

F-Secure also announced that Kimmo Alkio, Chief Operating Officer of the company, will join Nokia Corporation as Vice President of Systems Integration, Networks. The change will be effective as of April 1st, 2005. Alkio has been with F-Secure since 2000, first as CEO of F-Secure On-Line Solutions and in his current position since June 2001. During his tenure the company has achieved a significant financial turnaround and is currently the fastest growing publicly listed company in the industry.
