London (UK), 28 July 2005 – Utimaco Safeware AG is confirmed a world leader in securing mobile data by Gartner in its report evaluating mobile data protection solutions. The IT security specialist is placed ahead of its competitors for ‘Completeness of Vision’.
In this year’s ‘Magic Quadrant’ for Mobile Data Protection study, Gartner, the leading IT analyst, evaluates providers against two fundamental criteria; Ability to Execute and Completeness of Vision. Utimaco is praised for dramatically extending and improving its range of solutions on offer and selected as the vendor with the greatest vision worldwide. According to Gartner, its opinion was verified by good customer references, strong growth in revenues and frequent knowledge exchange with partners. Utimaco’s close cooperation with IBM and its international outlook are also cited as important indicators of its excellent position.
