New version of Kerio MailServer available from Commtech
Dublin, Ireland, Tuesday, January 31, 2006…Commtech and Kerio Technologies are now promoting the latest version of Kerio MailServer. This allows Mac users to unlock the new groupware features found in Microsoft’s Entourage 2004 Service Pack 2 (SP2) and more effectively collaborate with their colleagues using Outlook on a PC. Entourage 2004 SP2 adds better support for multiple calendars, Global Address List (GAL) and folder delegation.
Kerio MailServer acts as an email and groupware server, supporting Outlook and Entourage as its email and groupware clients. Designed primarily for small and medium sized businesses, this popular cross platform email management system has a strong following among Mac users, as well as Windows and Linux users.
“Entourage 2004 SP 2 is now closer in functionality to Outlook, its Windows counterpart, and our latest update to Kerio MailServer helps Mac users discover previously inaccessible areas of email collaboration,” explains Joe Weisz, Channel Manager for Kerio Technologies. He adds, “Now Entourage users can view and share calendars in their workgroup without having to open a second application like iCal or our WebMail client.”
Commtech has promoted Kerio MailServer for some time. According to Justin Owens, Managing Director of Commtech,” Kerio MailServer is an easy to manage and cost-effective email solution, with integrated anti-spam, anti-virus and groupware features, so it’s proving to be popular with our customers.”
