Bluefire Mobile Security Professional Edition version 4.0 released

Bluefire today announced the availability of the Bluefire Mobile Security Professional Edition version 4.0. It is designed to secure devices using Microsoft’s Windows Mobile 5.0 operating system including Pocket PC, Pocket PC Phone Edition, and Smartphone.

Bluefire developed the Professional Edition to accommodate the ever- growing mobile and wireless market. The Professional Edition offers:

* Protection for a lost or stolen device
* Confidentiality of information residing on the device including email, personal banking information, or address books
* Device security while accessing the Internet

Bluefire’s Professional Edition is a “stand-alone” security software application resident on the device with a full feature set including:

* Firewall
* Intrusion prevention
* Authentication
* Encryption
