New community site for open source mail filters

Milter.org (www.milter.org) was re-launched today as the largest open source resource center for the worlds leading mail filters (or Milters). The new community site has been reviewed and tested privately by volunteer members, and is now ready for participation by all those interested in advancing Milter applications.

The new site includes a catalog of open source and commercial Milters. Authors can add and update their filters and users can search for filters, download them, and rate them. The site also includes development resources such as documentation, an API reference guide, and sample code. A “Milter announcement mailing list’ has been added as well.
