Microsoft prepares two security bulletins
Microsoft announced their plan to release two Windows security updates on Tuesday January 8 as part of the regular software patch cycle.
One of the bulletins is rated critical for users of Windows Vista and Windows XP while the other is rated moderate for those using Windows 2000, Windows XP and Windows Server 2003.
Microsoft will release an updated version of the Microsoft Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool on Windows Update, Microsoft Update, Windows Server Update Services, and the Download Center.
Microsoft is also planning to release several non-security, high-priority updates on Microsoft Update (MU), Windows Server Update Services (WSUS) and Windows Update (WU) and WSUS.
