500 Gbps firewalling performance

Clavister AB, provider of IP-based security and UTM solutions, today declared a new world record in network security throughput. Tests show that the new Clavister technology is able to achieve plaintext throughput beyond 500 Gbps and IPsec VPN throughput beyond 200 Gbps.

This new technology should have a huge impact on the network security landscape and will enable service providers, telecommunication companies, data centers and large organization to reap the benefits of this huge performance gain.

This new Clavister technology will be the future foundation for Clavister Security Service Platform (SSP) and it is targeted for release in Q4/2008.
