Former U.S. Attorney General to keynote at InfoSec World 2008
MISTI announced the addition of former U.S. Attorney General John D. Ashcroft as a keynote speaker at InfoSec World Conference and Expo 2008. Ashcroft will join an impressive speaker line up that includes Oliver North, David Pogue and Anish Bhimani at the leading IT security event taking place March 10-12, 2008 at The Rosen Shingle Creek Resort in Orlando, Florida.
Ashcroft’s address “Defending Liberty: The Inescapable Imperative for Technology Innovation” will touch on a number of critical IT security topics. He will discuss the relationship between security and liberty, the fundamental right of individuals and businesses to protect both their information and right to privacy and how emerging technologies can address the most pressing information security issues.
In addition to engaging keynote presentations, this year’s conference features 11 tracks, 15 workshops and 3 summits – The CISO Executive Summit, The Summit on Preventing Data Leakage and The Log Management Summit.
