Veracode’s application security testing solution for U.S. Government

Veracode announced it has entered into a partnership and reseller agreement with Patriot Technologies. As the “go-to” source for the Federal Government’s information security solutions, Patriot will be reselling Veracode as well as using Veracode SecurityReview as a value-add to its OEM security appliance manufacturing business. Additionally, as part of the partnership, Veracode has been added to Patriot’s GSA schedule.

The GSA establishes long-term government-wide contracts with commercial firms to provide a centralized delivery system of products and services to the federal government – giving access to over 11 million commercial products and services that can be ordered directly from GSA Schedule contractors.

Market drivers within the federal government such as globalization of the federal software supply chain, a significant increase in attacks at the application and data layer, and compliance requirements like FISMA, OMB, and NIST underscore the strategic opportunity for Veracode’s on-demand application security testing service not only as part of the GSA schedule, but also in Patriot’s trusted partner portfolio.
