F-Secure launches new version of Protection Service for Business

With the current explosion of Internet malware and online crime – including targeted attacks on businesses – online security has become an important factor in business competitiveness. Maintaining smoothly running ICT systems requires a high level of online security, which is a challenge for small and medium sized businesses (SMBs) that have limited IT personnel and budgets.

That’s why F-Secure Corporation announced that it is launching a new version of its Protection Service for Business (PSB) – a comprehensive Security as a Service solution specially designed for the needs of small and medium-sized companies.

PSB 4.0 provides a fast response to emerging new threats, requires less user involvement and delivers significant performance improvements. It is automatic and always up-to-date. The solution protects business desktops, laptops, file servers and e-mail servers. Its easy-to-use web-based management portal is available anywhere from the Internet.

PSB 4.0 includes fast “in-the-cloud” technology to protect desktops and laptops. It also provides comprehensive protection for servers, including unique rootkit detection. As a new component, this release introduces e-mail protection and spam control.

PSB is available as Security as a Service (PSB Advanced) for customers who want to buy a service instead of technology or software, or as a corporate managed solution (PSB Standard).
