SentinelOne’s new services extend Vigilance’s MDR capabilities

SentinelOne, the autonomous endpoint protection company, launched its Deploy and Assist Vigilance MDR offerings to provide specific protection for each stage of the security lifecycle.

Deploy helps jumpstart customers who recently purchased SentinelOne by providing a 90-day onboarding service offering which ensures a seamlessly protected environment throughout the course of deployment. The Assist offering provides Vigilance protection for incident response partner profiles.

“Over the past year, we have responded to more than one-million threats and maintained an average response time of under 30 minutes, shattering the 24-hour industry standard response time,” said Eran Ashkenazi, SVP of Global Support & Services, SentinelOne.

“Our customers trust us to protect their most critical infrastructure and in today’s cybersecurity landscape, time is critical, which is why Vigilance has proven itself to be the premier MDR service on the market with published SLAs.”

With the new Deploy offering, customers are able to quickly adopt the platform and see immediate time to value, not only in terms of how the technology autonomously operates, but also in terms of staffing and time to value. With the new Assist offering, the world’s leading IR teams are able to take advantage of SentinelOne to solve breaches faster than ever before.

Built on the backbone of the innovative leader and best-in-class SentinelOne platform, Vigilance is strictly an optional add-on service. This stands in stark contrast to other industry providers that require customers purchase MDR services in order to achieve the messaged effectiveness of their products.

“Vigilance is truly what an MDR service should be. We have the utmost confidence in SentinelOne’s platform, yet still use Vigilance for an extra layer of protection,” said Alex Burinskiy, Lead Security Analyst at Cengage, an education and technology company.

“SentinelOne continues to innovate and challenge convention across the entire cybersecurity industry and reinventing the way MDR can, and should, be used is simply the latest example,” said Lou Klubenspies, CISO at PerkinElmer.

To enable extreme customer flexibility these two new offerings can be leveraged either independently or in conjunction with existing Vigilance SLAs. The existing Vigilance offerings are:

  • Monitor – provides customers full 24/7/365 coverage to classify and prioritize incoming threats and alerts.
  • Respond – provides Monitor services along with expert consultation, threat response and deep sample forensics services.
