SyncDog and Nine23 to enable mobile workforces a secure cloud-based collaboration tools access

SyncDog, the leading Independent Software Vendor (ISV) for next generation mobile security and data loss prevention, announced a partnership with Nine23, a highly-focused UK mobile security solutions company serving the public and private sector.

This partnership will enable mobile workforces to access cloud-based collaboration tools from their own devices with an increased level of security and greater cost savings.

SyncDog provides a secure application workspace for employees accessing enterprise mobile productivity apps on BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) or CYOD (Choose Your Own Device) technologies.

Nine23’s partnership with SyncDog will bring a full, end-to-end BYOD solution to users with the FLEXContainer solution, providing a remedy to overly restrictive mobile security policies that force many employees to carry two phones – one for work and one for personal use.

The joint offering will enable mobile workforces to access cloud-based collaboration tools from their own devices with a new, higher level of security.

“Nine23’s focus on secure mobile technology for regulated workplaces complements SyncDog’s mission,” said Brian Egenrieder, Chief Revenue Officer at SyncDog.

“We look forward to working with Nine23 to provide mobile solutions to the global marketplace that are more accessible for end-users, and expanding Nine23’s offering to include the isolation and encryption of email, and other sensitive data and files on mobile devices.”

The partnership will allow both SyncDog and Nine23 to provide their customers with unrestricted and highly secure collaboration between mobile employees and their enterprise with a containerized NIST-certified workspace, which keeps business data and applications separate from personal use information on any device.

“Nine23 believes that the front-line user should be empowered to use technology securely without inhibiting productivity and our partnership with SyncDog achieves that goal,” said Stuart McKean, CEO of Nine23.

“By securely protecting BYOD end users through FIPS 140-2, AES 256-bit encryption, this partnership removes the compromise of having to choose between increased security and increased productivity – it provides both.”
