Inseego launches four 5G fixed wireless solutions for home cord-cutters and business premises
Inseego introduced four new 5G fixed wireless solutions designed to meet the needs of users in almost any location, from underserved rural areas to dense urban environments, from residential settings to business premises. Named the Wavemaker series, this is one of the industry’s broadest line-ups of 5G fixed wireless products.

The Wavemaker 5G portfolio includes two indoor routers and two outdoor modems that support both sub-6 GHz and mmWave spectrum bands. Using the Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ X55 5G modem, and optimized with Inseego’s high-performance RF and antenna designs, these products provide the high gain and signal strength for outstanding connectivity in almost any environment:

The flagship Wavemaker FG2000 5G indoor router brings unprecedented speeds to home and business premises. With dual-band Wi-Fi 6 technology and multiple ethernet ports for direct connection to computers, additional Wi-Fi routers and other devices, it supports 128 Wi-Fi connections for remote workers, smart homes and business locations, including branch offices needing reliable failover communications.
The smaller Wavemaker FX2000 router supports up to 32 Wi-Fi connections — perfect for apartments, dormitory rooms and small businesses.
With the Inseego mobile app on their smartphone, users can easily find the best location for their router and manage their settings. No service appointment is needed.
Wavemaker 5G outdoor modems: Bringing 5G to customer premises anywhere
For installations in more remote areas, the Wavemaker FW2000 5G outdoor modem features high-gain directional antennas that can deliver a strong signal almost anywhere — even at the edge of cellular networks, along with dual-SIM connectivity.
Ruggedized with IP67-rated durability, it’s built to last, providing ultra-reliable connectivity for rural homes and businesses. In more suburban installations, the excellent antenna gain of the FW2000 will also enable enterprises and homes to achieve maximal data rates.
In urban settings such as apartment buildings, offices and other facilities, the Wavemaker FW2010 5G outdoor modem provides breakthrough high-power, mmWave performance with high-speed throughput and ultra-reliable low latency.
The Inseego mobile app for professional installers provides clear and simple steps for the placement and setup of the outdoor modems.
The company also announced that an enterprise-focused 5G portfolio is in development, with even more products and additional software features.

Global availability
Products in the Wavemaker portfolio will be launching commercially in North America starting tomorrow, and Europe, the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific through the first half of 2021.
According to the November 2020 Ericsson Mobility Report, FWA connections are forecast to grow more than threefold and reach over 180 million by the end of 2026, accounting for around 25 percent of total mobile network data traffic globally.
