Redpoint Global announced it has promoted Ron Sanderson to Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). The appointment signifies Redpoint’s continued commitment to ensuring customer data remains private and secure.
Whether through SOC 2 compliance or implementing PII vaults for secure management of customer data within the cloud, Redpoint’s initiatives always center on delivering peace of mind for clients and consumers around data privacy and data security no matter the location of that data.
“Customer data is one of the most important assets in today’s enterprise, and the security of our client’s customer data is paramount in importance for Redpoint,” said Dale Renner, CEO at Redpoint Global. “Appointing Ron as our CISO is the latest evolution in Redpoint’s mission to meet those requirements and protect sensitive customer data. Ron’s proven leadership and commitment to these endeavors keeps security at the forefront as Redpoint continues to enable exceptional, personalized customer experiences.”
One of Redpoint’s earliest employees, Sanderson has taken a leadership role in Redpoint’s security and privacy initiatives, including spearheading SOC 2 compliance and HIPAA certification. He most recently served as Director of Information Security, overseeing the company’s InfoSec awareness training and leading initiatives to build out Redpoint’s Information Security capabilities from the ground up. In his role as CISO, Sanderson will further strengthen Redpoint’s security and privacy approach as the company offers further cloud native offerings to some of the world’s leading retailers, healthcare organizations and financial institutions.
“Customer trust is mission critical for personalizing brand experiences. A single failure to protect data and privacy can often mean a failed relationship – if not worse consequences. We have always relied on Redpoint to ensure we are delivering personalized experiences for our healthcare customers that don’t sacrifice privacy or security along the way,” said Craig Thomas, CEO and Co-Founder of Lucerna Health.
“This next progression in Redpoint’s security journey is further proof that we’ve aligned ourselves to a partner just as committed to the core values of trust and transparency as we are, whether we are working with Redpoint to serve our customers or with Redpoint healthcare customers helping them execute their strategies to create value.”
Security through deployment
Redpoint gives brands the option of where they want customer data to reside — in their cloud or ours. Unlike most SaaS solutions for personalized experiences that require sending your data outwards, Redpoint allows brands to keep customer data behind their firewall. In 2021, Redpoint launched a cloud-native, platform as a service (PaaS) that helps business decision makers fully control and secure their customer data without compromise.
With a simple, powerful and privacy-focused approach, the PaaS deployment option provides unified customer data in place, at unprecedented ease, speed and scale without the need to transfer data across the internet. Additionally, through the corresponding interface and dashboard (Redpoint In Situ), Redpoint provides business users with radical transparency into the quality, reliability and trust of all customer data – empowering companies to confidently actualize their data across all edge points of the enterprise.
In combination with onboarding processes, Redpoint’s PaaS offering significantly improves speed to value – providing customers with fully operational customer golden records in a few weeks instead of months. Redpoint’s secure, cloud native implementation of rgOne empowers marketers to easily create new omnichannel customer experiences surrounding that golden record, with Redpoint’s pre-built functions and easy-to-use interface for everything from segmentation and audience building to real-time personalization and activation across all customer touchpoints.
