SSH Announces SSH Tectia Solution For IBM Mainframes

HELSINKI, FINLAND and WELLESLEY, Mass. – Jan. 24, 2005 – SSH Communications Security Corp. As the first enterprise security solution to fully integrate the well-established Secure Shell protocol for IBM mainframes, the new SSH Tectia Server is designed to run native on IBM z/OS® platform. According to market reports, over 90 percent of Fortune 1000 companies use mainframes with their business applications, and over 70 percent of corporate data is stored on mainframe computers.

The new SSH Tectia Server will provide IBM mainframe users with robust, comprehensive enterprise security, including secure system administration, secure application connectivity, and secure file transfer functionality.
