InfoExpress’ CyberGatekeeper Nominated as One of the Most Innovative Products by eWEEK in 2001

Leading enterprise newsweekly’s eXcellence Awards honor the best IT products

Mountain View, CA, February 21, 2002 — InfoExpress, a pioneer in remote access security, today announced that eWEEK, the number one enterprise newsweekly (www.eweek.com), has named CyberGatekeeper Suite 1.0 a finalist for the publication’s second annual eXcellence Awards, which recognize the best and most innovative enterprise technology product releases in 2001. Winners will be announced at a special ceremony on March 5, 2002, at the Westin Copley Place Hotel in Boston, Mass. Winners will also be published in the March 4, 2002 edition of eWEEK.

“eWEEK provides strategic analysis on the technologies, platforms and trends that affect enterprise-wide computing,” said Eric Lundquist, editor-in-chief. “The eXcellence Awards recognize those products that are leading the industry into its next wave of growth, while at the same time benefiting two worthy organizations.”

eWEEK is the authoritative information source for enterprise IT professionals, providing news and technology reviews weekly in print and on the Web. The eXcellence Awards are a benchmark for IT professionals, enabling them to assess products that provide a competitive edge. More than 500 entries were received this year, and were evaluated by a panel of experts, including eWEEK Labs analysts and eWEEK Corporate Partners.

“InfoExpress is honored that our remote system policy enforcer CyberGatekeeper is a finalist for eWEEK’s renowned eXcellence Awards,” says Stacey Lum, CEO of InfoExpress. “The ability to enforce configurations is the last mile in remote access security. Previously, system administrators relied on end users for compliance. CyberGatekeeper moves security back into the hands of systems administrators. This nomination also validates the trend towards the use of enterprise security products like CyberGatekeeper in remote and wireless applications,” Mr. Lum adds.

Products will be awarded in the following categories:

· Analytics and Reporting

· Application & Web Services Development

· Customer Relationship Management

· Portals and Knowledge Management

· Desktop and Handheld Hardware

· e-Business Foundations

· Enterprise Collaboration and Messaging

· IT Quality Assurance Tools

· Personal Productivity

· Server Hardware

· Storage

· Networking Infrastructure

· Networking and Management Tools

· Authentication and User Management

· Enterprise Resource Protection

After program expenses, eWEEK will donate proceeds from entry fees evenly between two organizations that leverage technology to build community: the Starlight Foundation PC Pal program and the Massachusetts-based Youth Tech Entrepreneurs.
