REDWOOD CITY, Calif.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Sept. 18, 2001–

Ingrian Networks Fully Integrates Netegrity’s SiteMinder(R) Agent on

Secure Content Networking Platform

Ingrian Networks, the leader in secure content networking, today announced a strategic partnership with Netegrity (Nasdaq:NETE), the leading provider of software solutions for securely managing e-business. Under the terms of the agreement, Netegrity’s SiteMinder(R) web authentication and access control agent will be tightly integrated into Ingrian Network’s Secure Content Networking platforms, delivering top solutions for access management and end-to-end content security in one platform.

Netegrity’s flagship product SiteMinder is the market-leading software solution for securely managing user access to e-business web sites. By combining single sign-on, authentication management and entitlement management functionality, SiteMinder provides companies with the ability to centrally manage all of the access management functionality on a site, greatly reducing the cost and complexity of administering these web sites.

“As global businesses move more and more secure applications and services online, it’s imperative that only authorized individuals have access to confidential data,” said Rod Murchison, VP of Product Management for Ingrian Networks. “By integrating Netegrity’s authentication and authorization software into our secure content networking platform, we are breaking new ground by offering enterprises and financial services organizations an end-to-end content security infrastructure that supports their strategic electronic business initiatives.”

With SiteMinder integrated into Ingrian Network’s Secure Content Networking platform, network managers can now move the authentication and authorization processes off of Web servers and forward into the secure network infrastructure, drastically increasing the stability of Web servers already burdened by multiple software programs. Instead of installing and managing SiteMinder web agents on racks of web servers, network managers can now simply activate and configure the fully integrated SiteMinder web agent from Ingrian Network’s easy-to-use management interface, saving time and resources.

“Ingrian Networks’ innovative Secure Content Networking platform, combined with SiteMinder’s access management functionality, provides a complete, secure and scalable infrastructure to meet the needs of the fast-growing secure content delivery market,” said Sumner Blount, Netegrity’s senior director of Channels. “This is an important technology partnership because it provides our customers with increased functionality while dramatically increasing usage of our core offerings. We look forward to an ongoing relationship with Ingrian Networks to deliver additional security products and services to the market.”

Ingrian Networks secures the core content delivery services of the network infrastructure. As companies increasingly use the Internet to drive revenue, improve processes and strengthen customer and partner relationships, the ability to protect and network secure content and critical data behind the firewall is paramount. The Ingrian Networks Secure Content Networking Platform integrates secure content caching, content switching, SSL/TLS acceleration, key management, and backend data encryption capabilities into a single device for a completely secure and extensible content management infrastructure.

One of the unique features of the platform is its ability to thoroughly secure data on web servers and databases utilizing powerful key management and encryption technologies. Ingrian Networks’ platform allows companies to leverage their secure critical B2B and B2C transactions in new ways, offering absolute security without sacrificing the performance, speed and flexibility companies expect from their network.

Aside from Vogt, Ingrian Network’s management team includes some the Silicon Valley’s top experts in security and networking including Rod Murchison, VP of Product Management and formerly of CacheFlow (Nasdaq:CFLO) as well as other leading technologists including the inventor of Palm’s secure wireless PDA and the designer of Tivo’s scalable content distribution architecture.
