(NASDAQ: TPTI), the leader in intrusion prevention, today announced the UnityOne-5000, the first and only intrusion prevention system (IPS) capable of performing at five gigabits per second (Gbps) under load. TippingPoint also announced a 50-megabit per second (Mbps) system, the UnityOne-50, for small businesses and remote branch offices.

The UnityOne-50 is an appliance equipped with two Ethernet ports protecting one network segment.
