For the ninth year running, Panda Software will be taking part in the CeBIT trade fair, on Stand G35 – Pavilion 6, from March 18 to 24 in Hannover (Germany). Also on show will be other solutions from the range of products based on the new ProactiveSecure technology, designed to protect all corporate network elements from unknown threats and intrusion attempts.

According to Jos?ar?Hern?ez, VP International Expansion at Panda Software, the company has undergone a transformation since the last edition of CeBIT. Over the last few months we have extended our field of action to include defense against all types of threats known as malware. This means that at this year s CeBIT, Panda Software is pleased to offer visitors a range of innovative solutions that cater to the needs of all types of clients such as BusinesSecure Antivirus and EnterpriSecure Antivirus which are now available in various language versions including German.

BusinesSecure Antivirus is a highly effective, hassle-free solution to protect workstations and file servers from all kinds of viruses, Trojans and worms. Also available is BusinesSecure with Exchange, to add protection for all versions of Microsoft Exchange Server. EnterpriSecure Antivirus, on the other hand, offers global antivirus protection for large corporate networks, or highly varied or complex environments. With this solution, any network component workstations, Internet gateways, internal servers in the DMZ, etc.- will be out of the reach of malicious code, without network administrators having to bother with laborious configuration or deployment tasks.

Other products in the recently launched family of new Panda Software solutions -Panda WebAdmin Antivirus, Panda Antivirus GateDefender, Panda Titanium Antivirus 2004 and Panda Platinum Internet Security- will also be on show for the first time at CeBIT 2004. The company will also be unveiling its new ProactiveSecure technology. For the first 13 years of our history as a company, we have been dedicated to the fight against viruses. Now, however, we have widened our scope to include intrusion prevention. We are also strongly committed to a new focus on proactive protection, and we expect to revolutionize the market yet again, for example, with the launch of our new ProactiveSecure, explains Hern?ez.

ProactiveSecure is the most effective weapon against unknown treats, as it anticipates the future appearance of network worms, application exploits and combined attacks, detecting and blocking them even if they haven t previously been identified. Its outstanding features and characteristics mean that this Panda Software solution offers an effective global protection strategy to complement, existing security systems and antivirus products.

CeBIT is one of the most important IT trade fairs in the world. This year s event has attracted over 6,500 exhibitors from 70 countries.
