F-Secure Protects Users Of The Nokia 7710 Widescreen Multimedia Smartphone Against Harmful Content
F-Secure Corporation [HEX: FSC] today announced that its wireless antivirus solution for smartphones, F-Secure Mobile Anti-Virus, will be distributed with the Nokia 7710 widescreen multimedia smartphone, which was introduced today at the annual Nokia Mobility Conference in Monaco and the Destination Nokia event held in Bangkok, Thailand.
The advanced smartphone features of the Nokia 7710 allow users to achieve a balance between personal productivity and entertainment on the go. It has a wide and high-quality touch screen with 65,536 colours and is a pleasure to use for a variety of tasks. The powerful Nokia 7710 includes a full Internet browser, an integrated music player with stereo audio, an extensive set of video features such as playback, streaming and recording, a megapixel camera with 2-x digital zoom and FM radio with Visual Radio client.
The F-Secure software will be available on a memory card in the sales package of the new multimedia smartphone early 2005. The application will include a free one-month test period of the F-Secure Mobile Anti-Virus service. After the trial, the users of the phone can purchase additional antivirus service time directly from the mobile phone or through F-Secure eStore.
