Kaspersky Lab’s product receives “Certified for Windows” status for Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Standard Edition

Kaspersky Lab, a leading developer of secure content management solutions that protect against viruses, spam and hacker attacks, announces another certification for the Kaspersky(r) Anti-Virus product line.

In certification procedures on products carried out by VeriTest, the testing division of Lionbridge (Nasdaq: LIOX) for the Microsoft Corporation, Kaspersky Anti-Virus 5.0 for Windows File Servers received the “Certified for Windows” classification for Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Standard Edition. In order to receive the “Certified for Windows” status, products must meet a range of criteria, and is compatible with the Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Standard Edition operating system.

During VeriTest’s analysis, Kaspersky Anti-Virus 5.0 for Windows File Server successfully passed the full range of functional, technological and ergonomic tests required for certification, and is now qualified to use the “Certified for Windows” logo on all related product and marketing materials.
