AdRem to showcase scalable and secure network monitoring at Interop New York 2005

NEW YORK, December 8, 2005 – AdRem Software, developer of network management solutions, will demonstrate the pre-release version 4 of its flagship NetCrunch monitoring solution at the upcoming Interop New York 2005 trade-show, December 13-15, 2005.

The new version of NetCrunch will offer more scalability and security while keeping the agentless monitoring approach. This will be possible through significantly improved program reliability and monitoring performance. NetCrunch will not only control its own monitoring traffic and performance, but will also tap into the power of multi-processor and multi-core systems. As a result, network administrators will be able to efficiently manage a larger number of hosts and network services.

Unlike other network monitoring solutions, NetCrunch 4 will be attractively licensed per administrator workstation, entitling the user to monitor practically an unlimited number of network hosts.

Other highlights of NetCrunch 4 will include:

– Enhanced network management security due to support for SNMP v.3 and policy-based access via the Web to network performance data

– Custom network performance reports

Borys Skraba, AdRem’s International Sales Director, said: “Agentless monitoring is no longer limited to small networks. NetCrunch’s scalability and responsiveness allows it to be successfully implemented in a typical mid-size TCP/IP networks. Larger IT shops can leverage our software to ensure that only authorized operators are able to manage the network in a way that reflects internal or regulatory requirements.”

At booth #763, live solution demonstrations will be provided. The product is scheduled to ship January 2006, however, Interop visitors will receive fully functional 30-day trials of all of AdRem’s network management solutions.
