Web Based Risk and Compliance Management service released

In its participation at InfoSec Europe 2006, RiskComp Ltd. announced the launch of the World’s first fully managed Web based Risk and Compliance Management Service. This Service provides the ability for Organizations of all sectors and sizes to introduce an Information Security Risk Management programme across their entire Organization without the need to install, support and maintain any software on the desktop, or employ expensive Consultants to “re-invent the wheel”.

The RiskComp Managed Service uses an Expertise based questionnaire driven approach, and is launching with an Information Risk Management Expertise, and an ISO 17799 Compliance Management Expertise. These provide everything necessary to both assess AND manage the Information Security and Operational risks of an Organization, and assess compliance against the ISO/IEC 17799:2005 Code of Practice for Information Security.



RiskComp is the brainchild of the designer and author of the COBRA PC based Risk Assessment software, and while RiskComp re-uses the best concepts, it has many new features, a completely different interface, and utilizes an IBM Lotus Domino web platform, renown for its security, performance, and collaborative working.
