Zix Corporation selected by Library of Congress Federal Credit Union for email encryption

Zix Corporation announced that the Library of Congress Federal Credit Union (LCFCU) has signed a contract for ZixCorp’s award-winning Email Encryption Service. LCFCU has more than $132 million in assets and serves more than 10,000 members around the globe.

“Financial services are heavily regulated and the credit union is committed to maintaining privacy and protecting our member’s and business partner’s personal financial information,” said Gary Mandelkorn, vice president and chief operating officer for LCFCU. “ZixCorp’s strong presence in the finance sector and the company’s relationships with the banking regulators gave us the confidence we needed to make a quick decision for email encryption service.”

As the leading email encryption provider with over six million protected email recipients, ZixCorp’s vast network allows seamless encrypted email delivery to healthcare organizations, insurers, financial institutions and regulators, including four of the five banking regulatory agencies. ZixCorp now supports five encrypted email delivery mechanisms, including S/MIME, TLS, OpenPGP, secure portal and “push” delivery.
