Arrow Electronics acquires Intechnology’s storage, security distribution business

Arrow Electronics, a global provider of products, services and solutions to industrial and commercial users of electronic components and computer products, has completed its acquisition of the storage and security distribution business of Intechnology for a purchase price of approximately $80m.

Arrow Enterprise hopes that the acquisition of Intechnology’s storage and security distribution business will enable it to expand its enterprise computing solutions business into the UK. The company expects this transaction to create further opportunities for the company in storage and security software markets.

Intechnology, which is headquartered in Harrogate, has approximately 200 employees, and delivers storage and security solutions to value-added resellers in the UK.
