Astaro chosen as one of “Top 20 Companies to Watch in 2007”

Astaro Corporation announced that it has been named one of the “Top 20 Companies to Watch in 2007” by Linux Magazine. The list features vendors that are best positioned in the coming year to spur Linux and Open Source adoption while delivering on the immediate needs of the marketplace.

“For over five years our Open Source development model has been a key ingredient for our success,” said Jan Hichert, Astaro CEO and co-founder. “We have always been proud of being able to demonstrate that product companies and the Open Source community can work well together.”

Astaro sponsors Open Source projects such as Netfilter, ClamAV, Openswan, Strongswan, and Openvpn, and has been a contributor to several others.
