In addition, for those Windows Vista consumers just wanting antivirus and anti-spyware, the company announced that the Certified for Windows Vista Trend Micro AntiVirus plus AntiSpyware 2007 will be available on the same day. It protects users’ computers from infection by detecting and removing viruses, worms, Trojan horse programs; it helps secure users’ privacy by blocking and removing malicious spyware, hidden rootkits and adware that allow others to monitor or take control of your computer; and it automatically downloads the latest updates or allows users to customize and configure the protection they want.

The Certified for Windows Vista Trend Micro Internet Security release incorporates the Trend Micro well-known PC-cillin(TM) engine and anti-malware protection along with a host of new features addressing rootkits, spyware, phishing, spam, hackers, viruses, WiFi attacks, smartphone threats and the growing number of identity-theft threats.
