StillSecure VAM achieves Common Criteria certification

StillSecure announced that StillSecure VAM v5.5, the company’s vulnerability management platform, has been approved by the National Information Assurance Partnership for Common Criteria (ISO/IEC 15408) certification. Common Criteria is an internationally recognized standard that provides a broad range of evaluation criteria for commercial and nationally sensitive government-use IT security products.

StillSecure selected CygnaCom Solutions to conduct independent testing of the StillSecure VAM v5.5 product. Cygnacom Solutions’ Common Criteria Testing Laboratory is accredited by the National Voluntary Laboratory Assessment Program and approved by the National Information Assurance Partnership (NIAP). CygnaCom’s SEL performs Common Criteria evaluations in accordance with the NIAP Common Criteria Evaluation and Validation Scheme.

The evaluation process determined that StillSecure VAM v5.5 meets the Common Criteria for Information Technology Security at Evaluation Assurance Level 2 (EAL2). DoD and Intelligence Community consumers can now purchase this product according to the NSTISSP #11 regulation and DoD 8500 acquisition policies.
