Digital Defense releases 3.5 version of Frontline

Digital Defense announced the newest release of their flagship offering, Frontline. Featured in Frontline 3.5 is the formal launch of the Company’s Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) Application Programming Interface (API). The SOA API allows clients and partners to further integrate Frontline with a variety of third party solutions including, but not limited to service desk and asset management applications.

“We are very excited about the updates and enhancements we are making to the Frontline system not only in this release, but also in the releases planned for the remainder of 2007,” stated Larry R. Hurtado, president and CEO of Digital Defense. “Our continued investment in Frontline demonstrates our commitment to clients to keep our platforms current and our associated Information Security and Compliance service programs effective and relevant in today’s threat and regulatory environments. We believe the new capabilities in Frontline 3.5 not only improve our ability to help clients strategically manage risk within their business operations, but also further strengthen our partner relationships by allowing greater degrees of integration between our service offerings and our partner’s information security and enterprise productivity solutions.”

The Frontline secure web portal and the underlying Network Security Awareness System (NSAS) platform are based on an SOA-based design framework. The NSAS architecture facilitates the Company’s ability to rapidly incorporate new features and services into the system in response to client, market, and industry needs.
