Three new ArcSight appliances announced for European markets
ArcSight announced the European availability of three appliances that extend the product suite beyond security teams and into the compliance, network infrastructure and corporate IT function. ArcSight Network Configuration Manager (NCM), ArcSight Threat Response Manager (TRM) and ArcSight Logger are being demonstrated in combination with the company’s flagship product, ArcSight ESM covering the range of solutions needed to address the security and compliance market this week at Infosecurity Europe on stand D250.
ArcSight NCM is an appliance-based network configuration management solution that optimises and automates the manual and tedious process of making configuration changes and documenting them across large networks. ArcSight NCM improves productivity and responsiveness of IT staff to changing business needs, while maintaining and improving network compliance, security and reliability. Through automating network configuration tasks, ArcSight NCM responds rapidly to network events, while ensuring any network configuration changes are automatically documented and conform to both operational policy, as well as any regulatory mandates. Until ArcSight NCM, attempts at solving these complex and repetitive tasks have either been home-grown scripts or software solutions that are difficult to maintain.
ArcSight TRM allows the exact location of any compromise on the network to be instantly pinpointed and responded to with specific policy-based actions.
