Windows Server 2008 certification for GFI EventsManager 8

GFI Software announced that its award-winning events monitoring and events management solution GFI EventsManager 8 has achieved “Certified for Windows Server 2008′ status.

 
Windows Server 2008 Certification comprises approximately 100 test cases that independently confirm an application’s compliance with best practices for compatibility, security, reliability, and availability, on the new platform. The certification identifies top-performing technologies that are ready to deploy in mission-critical environments.
 
As a participant in the Microsoft Early Access Program (EAP) for Windows Server 2008 Software Certification, GFI EventsManager was one of more than 300 applications that were eligible for certification on a pre-release version of the new platform.

GFI EventsManager 8 is an events monitoring, management and archiving solution that supports a wide range of event types such as W3C, Windows events, Syslogs and, in the latest version, SNMP traps generated by devices such as firewalls, routers and sensors.
