Malware immune secure flash drives from Kanguru

Kanguru Solutions announced that its secure, remotely manageable, flash drives are immune from auto-run viruses and malware.

The KanguruDefender, KanguruDefender Pro and Kanguru Bio AES flash drives all utilize forced encryption and manufacturing methods that prevent infection from auto-run type viruses and malware.

Kanguru Solutions secure flash drives are inaccessible to such auto-run malware due to a combination of a strict quality assurance program and forced encryption. Encryption is contained in a read-only section of the drive that cannot be accessed or modified. In addition, the writable portion of the drive is encrypted and can only be accessed after a password has been correctly entered. This ensures that no malware can infect the drives during the manufacturing process or auto-run from the drives if a user inadvertently downloads them.
