Online backup vault from Proxure

Proxure announced version 3.15 of its KeepVault backup solution for Microsoft Windows 7, Windows Vista 64-bit and 32-bit versions, and Windows XP. There is also a version of KeepVault specifically for Windows Home Server users.

The solution mates an online storage account with an interface that provides real-time, offsite backup for Windows, with the ability to backup to local devices such as internal/external hard drives and USB flash drives. The software can be installed on an unlimited number of PCs in the home/office network and all users can back up all their important files to the same online storage account.

KeepVault also includes 128-bit encryption during transmission over the Internet and on the servers. Additionally, it sends failure notifications via Twitter, email, or SMS.

Pricing starts at $4.00/month for 40GB of storage.
