LiveVault 7.0: Application and server backup

Iron Mountain announced LiveVault 7.0, a fully managed, cloud-based data protection solution with proactive administration and monitoring.

The latest version of LiveVault allows customers to protect seven terabytes of data per server and restore data fast through the TurboRestore onsite appliance. LiveVault 7.0 also includes enhanced vulnerability management and threat detection programs to safeguard customer information.

For the initial deployment of the solution, customers can use a LiveVault data shuttle service to transfer multi-terabytes of data quickly and securely to Iron Mountain’s data centres.

In the event of disaster recovery or large data restores, the service allows customers to restore server data at Iron Mountain’s data centre and have it shipped to them potentially before their electricity or Internet services are even available.
