IEEE introduces Redline Versions of Standards
IEEE Standards Association (IEEE-SA) today announced the IEEE Redline Versions of Standards, a new offering that provides an easier way to compare all of the changes between an active standard and the previous approved version.
IEEE Redline Versions of Standards provide speed and efficiency by enabling technical professionals to read only the parts of a standard that have been revised.
Additions, deletions, and other formatting or content changes between the two versions are clearly marked, so users can make necessary changes to their procedures and products.
Individual “Base + Redline” bundles are available for sale in the IEEE Standards Store. Each bundle contains the active standard and the redline version.
IEEE Redline Versions of Standards are also offered in select IEEE online subscriptions at no additional cost.
